Color Fields

Color Fields consists of 18 small framed weavings, each carrying layers of gouache that seep, stain, and bleed through the woven structure. The rawness of the weaving remains visible, with each piece hung simply with pins, emphasizing its fragility, vulnerability, and handmade presence. The gouache acts almost as a wound—an interruption that penetrates the surface, leaving marks that suggest rupture, healing, and exposure. Together, the materials hold a tension between order and disruption, softness and damage.
